Congratulations! I can't wait to help you have an amazing birth.
Everyone deserves the kind of support and care a doula provides during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. I can encourage and uphold your family by carefully personalizing my skills, gifts, and disposition to benefit you and your journey.
I would love to meet and talk about your birth wishes and desires. At our initial consultation, we meet to learn about each other, and I can answer any questions about my services, experience, and skills.
Around 36 weeks we will schedule your intake/birth plan visit. This visit takes place in your home, where both you and your partner will discuss and discern your plans and desires You will also receive your Supporting Arms workbook, which will guide our conversation and give important tips, suggested reflections, and reminders.
At your birth I will be there for your family to help you have your most positive and supported experience. At this time and throughout our time together, I will provide emotional, physical, informational and relational support. You will have access to all my knowledge and skills, as well as all the helpful items in my doula bag. After you have given birth I will stay until you are settled and have established feeding (helping and giving tips when needed). We will have a postpartum visit within your first six weeks, where we can process your birth and connect about how things are going (and I will continue to be available via phone, text, and email during that time as well.
During our period of getting to know each other, you may decide that additional education is needed. As a certified childbirth educator, you will have access not only to my live classes but also online classes that can fit every schedule.
Contact me soon so we can start working toward your very best birth. I can hardly wait to meet you!
